Who we are
ShownInAI is a product of Aurumaxis Labs Limited, a company established in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
The service
ShownInAI sends prompts to third-party AI assistants (currently ChatGPT, via the OpenAI API) and reports which products and businesses they mention. AI answers vary between runs and change over time. Reports are a sample at scan time, not a guarantee of future results or rankings.
Accounts
You sign in with a one-time email link. You are responsible for activity in your workspace and for keeping API keys confidential. Revoke a key immediately if it is exposed. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
Plans and billing
One-time reports are charged once. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required. Payments are processed by Stripe; invoices are issued by Aurumaxis Labs Limited.
Acceptable use and API
Your use must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and, for programmatic access, the API Terms. Agencies may white-label reports for their own clients.
Your content and data
You keep all rights to the information you submit. You grant us a licence to process it to provide the service. Aggregated, de-identified results (for example public category leaderboards) may be published; they never include your account details. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and, for business customers, the Data Processing Agreement.
Generated content
Content fixes (llms.txt, schema, FAQ and page copy) are suggestions. Bracketed placeholders must be replaced with accurate facts. You are responsible for what you publish, including comparative claims about competitors.
Third-party AI services
Answers come from third-party providers we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or changes in behaviour.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, Aurumaxis Labs Limited's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost rankings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put the service at risk. You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account owners at least 14 days in advance and listed in the Changelog.
